Art and Design

textures

for this week we focused on making textures for are assets. 


fx

for our fx we made the basic Niagara systems that we later could use to make more complex ones for later. We also experimented with some shaders for shield effects and ... .


For the shield and wraith textures, we used different patterns that we panned over eachother and added on top of eachother, this gives us the motion effect that we need


rigging

we made are basic skeleton and imported in mixamo so we could choose different animation as fast as possible

Programming

Spells

We added some more spell shapes and elements to the game: beam and explosion for the shapes and ice and lightning for the elements. Spells now also require and consume mana to cast. Mana cost can be a combination of initial cast cost and a cost over time for sustaining the channel.
